"Overall Kitchen Table Travel…exceeded my expectations. I can’t say enough about how Cat and Georgette ensured that we were enjoying ourselves and were comfortable. They handled transport, accommodations and even activities and excursions! Everything was on one itinerary that we were able to print out and take with us. The trip was well organized which made our vacation stress free! The places we stayed throughout Italy were beautiful, clean and well kept. The dining, experiences and excursions they arranged were things I wouldn’t have been able to plan myself. They were spectacular and unique. The food was over the top phenomenal! Every bite I ate was fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we want to travel with Kitchen Table Travel again and again! Truly an amazing vacation and unforgettable experience!
Thank you for all that did. We really did have the best time and want to travel with you again! Looking forward to our next Kitchen Table Travel adventure!"

I had a great experience visiting a local market and eating there.
Cappuccinos and delicious pastries for breakfast. Wine tasting, olive oil tasting!
The walk at the farm and tasting what we got there!
This was the best trip to Italy!
The individualized care from Georgette and Cat was very thoughtful and caring.
They were very sensitive to our needs and preferences.

We wanted to do a foodie tour of Italy with friends from Chicago but wanted the option to do some customization. Having been to 9 European countries we searched for that potential unique experience on the internet. How fortunate we were to have found Kitchen Table Travel Company and its founders Georgette and Cat Nelson. They put together a 12 day trip that included the magical towns and villages of Casperia, Assisi, Orvieto, Montepulciano, and Siena. Our last stop was Rome where they arranged a most unique experience. Actually, the entire trip was magical. We were able to go at our own pace which is a true luxury. Georgette picked us up at the Rome airport and did all the driving. She really knows the roads and villages. We stayed in wonderful B&Bs and boutique hotels. The restaurants they took us to were better than outstanding. There were truly many memorable highlights including a visit to a master chef and his wife’s house. We had a scrumptious meal with wine and a desert that was heavenly. We learned how to make pasta from scratch and drank unbelievable Italian wines. This was an extraordinary trip. If you want to experience the uniqueness of Tuscany and Umbria with wonderful guides who are also terrific people check out www.kitchentabletravelco.com
